I went out hiking with my roommate at nearby Bald Pate Mountain, which has the rather dubious distinction of being the highest point in Mercer County, NJ (elevation somewhere between 480 and 500 feet). It's not exactly a wilderness area, as evidenced by the neatly mowed grass around this tree near the top, but still a nice place to get out in the woods for a bit.
