With the start of 2009 I have returned to my daily photo endeavor. The goal is one good photo every day to keep me active with my camera and my Smugmug site. I will miss days and weeks, but hopefully I'll come back fresh after each hiatus, however long it lasts. I started shooting daily photos early last year; my gallery for 2008 is
here.
As always, comments--especially constructive criticism--are warmly welcome.

Company picnic.
This is a shot of my boss's oldest daughter at the end-of-season company picnic. She doesn't know me very well, but she had noticed me earlier taking pictures of her as well as everyone else. At this point she turned around and saw me with the camera at the next table, and for a few seconds she just looked straight at me.
I have a huge number of shots of her and her 21-month-old twin sisters--they make quite the photogenic trio--but I don't know when I'll have time to sort through them. It doesn't help that I picked that day to try shooting RAW and I'm just starting to delve into the extra processing that comes with it...
