With the start of 2009 I have returned to my daily photo endeavor. The goal is one good photo every day to keep me active with my camera and my Smugmug site. I will miss days and weeks, but hopefully I'll come back fresh after each hiatus, however long it lasts. I started shooting daily photos early last year; my gallery for 2008 is here.

Pasta bowl.
Just a quick shot of some dinner my girlfriend threw together. I had had a bite to eat earlier and wasn't planning to have any until she sat down next to me with this. While I was taking photos I changed my mind. I wish the focus were a little sharper, but it was a bit of a slow shutter speed and I was rushing because someone was waiting for me to finish so she could start eating...
